Hello! I'm Paula Brearley, a Product Designer with a passion for branding, UI and visuals.
With a background in sociology and nearly two decades as a photographer, my transition into product design feels like a natural progression. Studying collective behavior and crafting visual narratives has given me a unique perspective on intuitive and compelling design.
Rooted in rational thinking, scientific methodology, and Bauhaus principles, my approach blends intention, functionality, and aesthetics to create designs that are both visually striking and highly usable.
My skill set includes Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and user-centered design, always aiming for clarity, simplicity, and impact.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me in a sauna at the Bathhouse, at Othership, or hiking Upstate. My husband and I love traveling the world to experience different saunas and cold plunges —we recently visited Balnea in Montreal, Pust in Bodo, Koena Spa in Ottawa, and Oslo Badstuforening, where we had the incredible experience of jumping into the Oslofjord to cool off, but our favorite so far is The Well in Oslo, Norway, and Lofoten Beach Camp in the Artic Circle. I also love yoga, cooking, catching films at the Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg, building puzzles, thrifting for MCM furniture, and exploring museums.
